The weak support the strong

This theme shows metal hulls supported by driftwood logs which carry traces of paint overspray. The proximity of the timber supports and the streamlined scooped shapes of the hulls was of particular interest.

Close observation shows not only that the sea has left its mark through natural erosion but that the man-made process of renovation is colluding with nature and creating new patterns, some reminiscent of fish scales and even fishing nets.
